What’s new?

The new look of the blog, that favors content, while the rest can be found scrolling the mouse down to the footer … and there you will find everything that was in the previous template.
Already I was in vein of changes, I also changed the graphics on the landing page of the website; adding the Guestbook you are going to sign many I hope ;-) …
Then I got an account on Flickr to organize slideshows that you can watch directly by the pages of this blog: my canvas that’s my hobby of painting at the time set aside; photos: me in live performances; and shots that mostly take via smartphone …

Cosa c’è di nuovo ?

La nuova grafica del blog, che predilige i contenuti, mentre tutto il resto lo trovate scrollando il mouse giù fino al footer… e trovate tutto lì quello che c’era nel template precedente… già che c’ero ho cambiato anche la grafica del sito e quindi della Landing page [mettere il link all'apposito post]… aggiungendo il Libro Ospiti che andrete a firmare numerosi mi auguro ;-) … poi mi sono accountato a flickr per organizzare le slideshows: my canvas [il mio hobby della pittura, al momento accantonato] photos che sono le foto con me in ambito live e shots che sono i miei scatti, maggiormente da smartphone…

“album 2.1″

the situation is as follows: The order of tracks is ready. To mention that I have still to compose lyrics for a track. I’m just missing to adjust some channels volume for some track, still missing 2 or 3 solo guitar [I'm thinking to a collaboration] and still missing sax section and solo on 2 or at least 3 tracks. Anyway the most of tracks are in the closing phase. During the week I hope to start the deposit of ready pieces. So now it’s time to think to the graphics of the album and I’m thinking to a very spartan thing.. I really like for how it sounds and I’m working in order to publish this new album on this month. Meanwhile you can keep track of my social flows on google plus, twitter, tumblr, pinterest, exfm, facebook

a new Landing Page for my website

One thing I had to do was change the homepage. And here launched the new Landing Page of my website. As you can see I chose a profile model, as it reveals what then here in the blog. In abovementioned page there are also previews the last 2 posts published in this blog…

The Landing Page is basically the page that appears when the address is entered in the browser for example: www.giulianoperticara.com or giulianoperticara.com, or a press on a link that points to such web sites.

And of course not without the player that starts automatically ;-)  [in any case there is a pause button]

Una cosa che dovevo fare era cambiare la pagina principale del sito. Ed ecco varata la nuova Landing Page [pagina d'atterraggio] del sito. Come potete notare ho scelto un modello profilo, in quanto rivela ciò che poi trovate qui nel blog. In suddetta pagina si trovano anche le anteprime agli ultimi 2 articoli pubblicati in questo blog…

La Landing Page è in pratica la pagina che viene visualizzata quando l’indirizzo immesso nel browser è ad esempio: www.giulianoperticara.com o giulianoperticara.com, o che venga premuto un link che punta a tali indirizzi web.

E naturalmente non manca il player che parte in automatico ;-) [in ogni caso c'è il tasto pausa]…

some news for my new album

Another soundtrack for the sequel or prequel to the movie that has not yet been filmed…

The lineup of my new album is making itself magically … And this could be like watching a sublimation in the chemical-physical fields. The tunes, but omit the number, it is as if they themselves would choose their own position relative to the previous or next. In this lineup the songs will be more than instrumental tunes; I have just decided the first tune and last one.

Currently I’m into the phase of draft of the lyrics that I still miss for some tracks… I can also anticipate that for one of these songs I used an excerpt from the American poet Eliot‘s Four Quartets.

In the coming days I will start to print the scores of tunes already finished… Right now I do not know precisely the time that separates this phase from the publication of the new album, but I strongly hope it is before the summer…

I think it’s time to post something in english

I think it’s time to post something in English. But now I have to warn anglophone readers: to write my posts in English, I use google translate and my knowledge of English. So I hope you forgive the various errors and mistakes that I can do from now on … But I wish strongly that my blog has something to offer even outside of Italy.
I could have put a link to google translate. But I would not be satisfied because all links would pass through the translation, and so I had the problem of URL’s. But I prefer links that have the clean URL’s. So I thought this would be the only way to keep clean URL’s. This was the tech reason in order to filter the simple translation of google translate with my knowledge of the language. Another reason is that a lot of countries are studying english as the second language starting from kids, and it’s not only to show my poor english skills, but it’s in order to the real visibility on the world wide web
